Equality, Diversity and Inclusion
In line with our vision to make a positive difference in people’s lives, we understand the importance of celebrating diversity. We treat the people who work for us as individuals, and meet the individual needs of the people who use our services.
We are also committed to fairness, inclusion and personalisation. We want to improve the experiences of people who use our services, and put people at the centre of decision making and we recognise how important it is to respect people’s dignity and basic rights.
We currently have four active employee diversity networks [BME, LGBT+, Disability and Wellness, Women's Network and Armed Forces] and our commitment to diversity and inclusion include the Race at Work (Five Calls To Action), the BSL Charter, the Dying to Work Charter and the Armed Services Covenant.
In the video below, Trust colleagues say what inclusion means to them.
